Martellus Bennett Lies about Injury; Patriots Cheat Again!

Martellus Bennett is a flat out liar. I don’t know the man personally, but after hearing how he played the Green Bay Packers, I am convinced of it. After reading this story, I’m sure you will feel the same way about him. Martellus, and his brother Michael have always been outspoken about anything and everything. If you remember, Michael was in Las Vegas this past August, during the Mayweather vs McGregor fight, and he was handcuffed by the police, when shooting occurred. Both Brothers have been extremely active with the “kneeling” protest during the national anthem, and both have spoken up about the all the issues surrounding the NFL this year. In the present situation regarding Martellus and his “injury”, he wasn’t outspoken at all. As a matter of fact, he kept his mouth completely shut!

Martellus Bennett signed with the Green Bay Packers last March. He was a member of the New England Patriots the previous season, where he won a super bowl. He left the Patriots to get paid! He signed a 3 year, 21 million dollar contract with the Packers, and instantly became Aaron Rodgers’ new tight end target. But the Packers season hasn’t gone as planned.  On October 15, when the Packers played the Minnesota Vikings,  Aaron Rodgers was knocked to the floor, and came away from that with a broken collarbone. He is now out for the rest of the season. No Aaron Rodgers = no more wins for the Packers!

Martellus had had enough with losing. He didn’t want to play for a team that didn’t have a chance to win. He went to the team doctors, and told them that he had a “shoulder injury”, that he wanted to have season ending surgery on. By him having the surgery, it would allow him to sit out the rest of the season, but still collect his paycheck. The Packers weren’t cool with that. They called his bluff. They released him from the team, saying he didn’t disclose any shoulder injuries to them at the beginning of the year, or any other time after that. If he would have told the team he was hurt, then they would not have signed him. After being released, Martellus went on a war rage against the Packers. According to USAtoday.com, Martellus took to twitter to bash the Packers, and their team doctor, Patrick McKenzie. “They Tried To Fuck Me Over”, Martellus said. He later went on to say that McKenzie forced him to play through the pain, and that he was aware every week that Martellus’ shoulder was getting worse, but the doctor would not disclose any information to the team.

Lie after lie after lie. He just kept running his mouth about the Packers, and how they did nothing to help him with his injury. Aaron Rodgers, and many other players came to the defense of Patrick McKenzie, saying everything that Martellus said about him wasn’t true and that he was one of the best doctors in the NFL.

Less than 48 hours of being released by the Green Bay Packers, Martellus Bennett was claimed off waivers by the New England Patriots. This Sunday, he played even though a few days earlier he said he was too hurt to play for the Packers. So after all that crying about his “injury”, Martellus’ shoulder was magically healed. All it took, was him switching teams.  The Packers are extremely upset, and they now are seeking to get back the signing bonus they gave Martellus. It’s worth over 6 million dollars. They feel like they got played’ and that Martellus shouldn’t benefit from his lying. I completely agree. The NFL should punish him for this, but they won’t. The Patriots cheaters, and Martellus is a liar. Nothing we didn’t know about either one of them. I guess its no big deal unless you’re the Green Bay Packers.

“Its not about “Could you play” It’s, “Should you play?” Right now, I’m just like fuck it”-Martellus Bennett
