Hi, what are you looking for?

NBA Eastern Conference Championship odds

NBA basketball is back officially on Thursday, July 30th. Today was the first day of scrimmages, and it doesn’t look to bad without fans. Corona virus (COVID-19), shut down the league on March 11, 2020, and now we finally have games to watch again on TV. Most of all NBA players have reported to the NBA bubble at Disney World by now. So with official league games beginning week, who has the best chance in wining a Championship? Lets talk about teams I like in the Eastern Conference.

Milwaukee Bucks: Even though the Milwaukee Bucks have been the best team all season, being out for 5 months doesn’t help with their team chemistry. Giannis Antetokounmpo will probably be this year’s MVP again. The most dominant player in the league, Giannis will try his best to make up for his short comings in last years playoffs. He hasn’t developed a consistent jump shot yet. Although he can score 30 in his sleep, the best way to stop a force like Giannis, is to build a wall. If he cant dunk, he can’t score. Having Khris Middleton is a help. But if he can’t be a consistent scorer for their team, and Eric Bledsoe is not playing at his best, I think it will be hard for the Bucks to win it all. Betting advice: Bucks have 5/2 odds to win Championship. +250. Personally the risk is not worth the reward. The Bucks Championship hopes are all up to Giannis, but until he proves he can break through, I’m not putting my money on the Bucks.

Philadelphia 76ers: With 2 of the most dominate players in the NBA on the same team, the 76ers are never out of contention. Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons are a great 1-2 punch when they are playing right. They seem like enemies when they aren’t. Joel Embiid is ultra talented, but refuses to play hard all the time. His lack of consistency is a major problem, and his health has always been a concern. Ben Simmons on the other hand is always is perfect shape. He plays as hard as anyone in the league. Defensively his a beast, and his play making in the open court is similar to LeBron’s. His problem is simple….HE CAN”T SHOOT! If the 76ers can get their act together, they might have a chance. Personally I wouldn’t put my money on them. The Philadelphia 76ers odds to win the Championship are 28/1 or +28000. If you like the 76ers, than these are great odds. I don’t believe they have the heart to do it, but you can make some good money if you like them to win the Championship.

Boston Celtics: If you watched the #HELLAFLAGRANT Podcast, then you know this is the team I picked to win it all. At least from the Eastern Conference. The Celtics have a great coach in Brad Stevenson, and terrific chemistry. They started to take form towards the end of the season before the shut down. Jayson Tatum is a true star in this league now, along with Kemba Walker. They have big time role players in Marcus Smart, Gordon Hayward and Jaylen Brown. I believe they have the talent, intelligence, and determination to get to the finals and win. The Boston Celtics odds to win the Championship are 17/1 or +1700. I believe this is a great value pick for your money, if you don’t want to take one of the obvious choice teams.
If you like any of these teams, don’t hesitate to make a wager. This year things can go either way. With COVID-19 changing the world of sports, we don’t know what will happen in the future. Long shots could win due to health reasons. Take a chance betters, you might come away with some big money in 2020!

Best Long Shot: Miami Heat at 30/1.
