Thanksgiving is a day for family, food and of course FOOTBALL!!!
Thursday there will be 3 straight games, that start as early as 9:30 in the morning. Well that is if you live on West Coast like me. The new look Chicago Bears with their vaunting defense will be traveling to Detroit, to take on the Lions. The next game will consist of the Washington Redskins, who lost Alex Smith to a broken leg last weekend, and The Dallas Cowboys. A match-up that happens every year it seems like. The last game features the Atlanta Hawks rolling into New Orleans to go up against the #1 ranked team in the NFL
. THE MIGHTY SAINTS!
Here are my Flagrant Foul Thanksgiving game picks.

Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions: It would seem like the easiest pick would be Chicago in the situation. Chicago is ahead of their division and their defense is stout. The only problem is that Mitch Trubisky hasn’t played well on the road. Detroit has been up and down all year but have competed well at home this year. The early start might have the Bears running slower than normal and even though the Lions don’t have a great pass rush the have been playing good defense as of late. Look for this game to be low scoring in the first half. My prediction is that this will be a closer game than most think. Take the UNDER 45.5

Washington Redskins vs Dallas Cowboys: With Alex Smith breaking his leg in last Sunday’s game, its easy to think that the Redskins wouldn’t have a chance in Thursday’s game. That’s not the case in this game. Their back up quarterback is very serviceable. In fact, the last time he played, he carved up the Cowboys. The Washington Redskins have a very good defensive and their are a lot of story-lines that come to play in this game. Adrian Peterson coming home to Dallas to play the team he loves, Josh Norman’s match up with Amari Cooper, and Colt McCoy showing that he is more than just a back up against the team he loves to beat. I’m not saying that Washington will automatically win this game, but I do believe they will cover. Take the Washington Redskins +7.5

Atlanta Falcons vs New Orleans Saints: I’m going to keep this short a simple. The under is the only way to play this. There is no way I’m putting my money on the Atlanta Falcons. I don’t care how many points they give the Falcons. I would never bet against the Saints. As much as it seems like these 2 teams can score, I think the fact that its on Thursday makes it a harder game for bother teams because of them both playing on Sunday. We know the Saints will score, but I think in this situation there will be a little more defense considering both these teams know each other well. This is a risky bet, but I’m going against the grain here. Take the Under 59.5 points.
